Stock-take

We'll be closed on Monday, May 28 for a stock-take. Sorry about this, everyone. Please come by before or after Monday if you need to get your supplies.

As for the Provocraft stamps, we were told by our supplier that there is a change in packaging currently which explains why they never arrived (wish they had told us earlier). Hang in there.

But you can expect patterned papers by Elsie Flannigan on our shelves very soon.

ELSIE FLANNIGAN!!!!!!

She's a star!

I think we should say a big 'Thank You' to Ruey. Her kit was not only a hit but it truly inspired us (who bought her kit). Though I think most only managed to complete one layout on Friday night, I'm sure we've learned more than a few tips/tricks.

I can't remember who brought along cameras but for those who don't already know, you can find them here. Thanks for dropping by!

Have a great scrapping week ahead.

May's goodies

As I'm typing this, boxes and boxes of new goodies are up in the air somewhere, making it's way over to our shores. There's Cropper Hopper (great in organising your scrapping paraphernalia and paper), Heidi Swapp, Bazill Basics cardstocks (great new colours) and our eagerly awaited acrylic stamps from Provocraft!!!!

Stamps are well.... stamps! Carved into shapes or letters, stamps have been the craze for awhile already and we're glad to have it on our shelves very soon. Acrylic stamps seem to be more popular than traditional wooden block stamps as you can actually arrange your letters/shapes onto a transparent acrylic block before stamping onto your paper/object. A clear acrylic block enables you to see whether you're stamping on the right spot rather than guessing and hoping and praying you have(which sometimes happen with wooden block stamps).

A proper sample soon. Once we've unpacked everything.

Have a good weekend ahead. See you soon!

Ruey Crop Night

Hey all!

Hope everyone has received via email their instructions for Ruey's May kit from Scrapping Angels. If you haven't, please let us know.

So we thought we'd dedicate Friday, May 18 to have only Ruey's kit on our scrapping table. Starting at 6pm (as usual), we can ooh and aah (if you haven't already) over the layouts. Try save one layout if you can, to complete on the night. It'd be fun to see who's done what and exchange what we've learned from Ruey's kit.

Of course there'll be food. I'm already planning a different menu in my head. Hopefully, we can get Peter Parker to come along.

Call us for a seat! :)

Know what?

Boxes arrived this morning.

Yes. PART OF many more boxes to come.

This batch is from Making Memories again. Seems like their CHA 2007 never ends but oh, how lovely they are!

Curling tags, packaging tapes, transparency overlay (!!!!!!),pre-glittered chipboard alphabets - to name a few. Great additions to your Mother's Day gifts :)

See you.

Finally!

Hey peeps!

The Ruey kits have finally arrived and I know most of you have collected yours. We realised there's no instructions in ours (maybe our bad luck?) so please make sure your kit is equipped with instructions before you start cutting and pasting away. We've informed Ruey already and hopefully we'll get them (the instructions) via email asap. Don't forget - these kits are planned layouts designed by Ruey herself which we are supposed to reconstruct. Can't wait to see them once they're all put together :)

New brands

Hey everyone!

It's Labour Day. Not that we celebrate it here so I hope everyone gets a chance to kick back and enjoy the fruits of your labour :) How's scrapping coming along?

Sorry for the lack of posts. Just a little note to let you know what's coming our way this month. More of Making Memories from the CHA 2007 collection, Bazzill Basics, and two new brands - Cropper Hopper and Heidi Swapp.

Have a nice week ahead :)
