Sunday 8 July 2007

Hey peeps!

Sorry about the lag of posts. *smack wrist*

Have you been scrapping heaps lately? Well, I'm sure most of you have been enjoying the Love, Elsie collection as much as we have. So much so that most of the patterned papers went flying off the shelves in a matter of days!

So this coming week, we're expecting more (and more!!) things. The last batch of Making Memories' Winter CHA 2006 collection (I heard there will be nice wall-hanging shelves to store and display your embellishments); more punches of different shapes from EK Success; more rub-ons and chipboards from American Craft - to name but a few. And, and, and - we've had a peek at 7gypsies and American Craft's Summer CHA 2007 Collection. *comatose*!!!!

We missed out on hosting a crop night for June so we're making up for it this month. Save this date in your diary - July 20. We've concocted a game idea where you won't go home empty-handed. Again, we'll keep you posted on more details and embellishments you'll need to bring.

See ya!

Tuesday 19 June 2007

What's new

Yes, yes. By tomorrow (fingers crossed), we'll have acrylic stamps from KI Memories on our shelves. Oh, so lovely.

If you haven't tried stamping yet, let me warn you that it can be VERY addictive (like stitching). And they're so easy to use and clean (use baby wipes) and store (empty CD cases). No worrying about whether they will stick to acrylic blocks. If they don't, you need to clean off the dust and grime off your block.

The ideas are endless with stamping. Fill in blanks with watercolours, cut out stamped images on paper/cardstock, create your own notepad with journalling stamps, the list goes on. You get the idea.

Happy stampin'!

Wednesday 6 June 2007

What's on offer

The Vertical Value Pack by Cropper Hopper is a great way to store all your 12"x12" patterned paper and cardstock in vertical see-through folders! Each value pack contains folders that fit nicely into a magazine holder. Buy a Vertical Value Pack worth B$63.00 and get a second pack for half the price.

Further discounts from existing privileges cannot be used with this offer. Points cannot be accrued from this purchase.

This offer ends on 15 June 2007.

See you soon :)

Tuesday 5 June 2007

Great gift idea

Firstly, hats off to the scrappers (you know who you are) who whizzed in and out very quickly and carrying with them many new items (which I didn't even get to see!). Who could blame them? They were absolutely lovely. We have soooo many beautiful patterned paper from 7 gypsies and Making Memories' Funky Vintage collection. If you like teal, you'll love this range. Gorgeous!

One other item that's new on our shelf is the Let-me-tell-you range. Currently, we have the 'Let-me-tell-you about the Bride-to-be' scrapbook album. A truly clever idea and great gift for a friend who's tying the knot. Bound together by a ribbon, you can add on pages if you wish (6 extra blank pages are included). Each page covers a separate topic from 'Bridemaids Roll Call' (Names, Emergency contact numbers and what they're good at) to the 'Fairytale' story (fill in the blanks in a whole paragraph about how the couple met) to an 'Organisation Chart' of your wedding (ie. who handles what on THE day).

Will post good photos soon.

Happy scrapping!

Lots and lots

...of patterned papers and stickers from 7 gypsies have just arrived. There are others too but I've not personally seen them but I know for a fact that they have just been freshly placed on the shelves but maybe not for long if we're talking about the rate it went the last time. Friendly jokes about "kiasu-ism" (fear of losing) have been made amongst scrapperholics out there. No need to get defensive, alright :)

You have been informed.

See you all soon :)

Wednesday 23 May 2007

Stock-take

We'll be closed on Monday, May 28 for a stock-take. Sorry about this, everyone. Please come by before or after Monday if you need to get your supplies.

As for the Provocraft stamps, we were told by our supplier that there is a change in packaging currently which explains why they never arrived (wish they had told us earlier). Hang in there.

But you can expect patterned papers by Elsie Flannigan on our shelves very soon.

ELSIE FLANNIGAN!!!!!!

Monday 21 May 2007

She's a star!

I think we should say a big 'Thank You' to Ruey. Her kit was not only a hit but it truly inspired us (who bought her kit). Though I think most only managed to complete one layout on Friday night, I'm sure we've learned more than a few tips/tricks.

I can't remember who brought along cameras but for those who don't already know, you can find them here. Thanks for dropping by!

Have a great scrapping week ahead.

Thursday 17 May 2007

May's goodies

As I'm typing this, boxes and boxes of new goodies are up in the air somewhere, making it's way over to our shores. There's Cropper Hopper (great in organising your scrapping paraphernalia and paper), Heidi Swapp, Bazill Basics cardstocks (great new colours) and our eagerly awaited acrylic stamps from Provocraft!!!!

Stamps are well.... stamps! Carved into shapes or letters, stamps have been the craze for awhile already and we're glad to have it on our shelves very soon. Acrylic stamps seem to be more popular than traditional wooden block stamps as you can actually arrange your letters/shapes onto a transparent acrylic block before stamping onto your paper/object. A clear acrylic block enables you to see whether you're stamping on the right spot rather than guessing and hoping and praying you have(which sometimes happen with wooden block stamps).

A proper sample soon. Once we've unpacked everything.

Have a good weekend ahead. See you soon!

Thursday 10 May 2007

Ruey Crop Night

Hey all!

Hope everyone has received via email their instructions for Ruey's May kit from Scrapping Angels. If you haven't, please let us know.

So we thought we'd dedicate Friday, May 18 to have only Ruey's kit on our scrapping table. Starting at 6pm (as usual), we can ooh and aah (if you haven't already) over the layouts. Try save one layout if you can, to complete on the night. It'd be fun to see who's done what and exchange what we've learned from Ruey's kit.

Of course there'll be food. I'm already planning a different menu in my head. Hopefully, we can get Peter Parker to come along.

*flashing cameras*

Call us for a seat! :)

Tuesday 8 May 2007

Know what?

Boxes arrived this morning.

Yes. PART OF many more boxes to come.

This batch is from Making Memories again. Seems like their CHA 2007 never ends but oh, how lovely they are!

Curling tags, packaging tapes, transparency overlay (!!!!!!),pre-glittered chipboard alphabets - to name a few. Great additions to your Mother's Day gifts :)

See you.

Monday 7 May 2007

Finally!

Hey peeps!

The Ruey kits have finally arrived and I know most of you have collected yours. We realised there's no instructions in ours (maybe our bad luck?) so please make sure your kit is equipped with instructions before you start cutting and pasting away. We've informed Ruey already and hopefully we'll get them (the instructions) via email asap. Don't forget - these kits are planned layouts designed by Ruey herself which we are supposed to reconstruct. Can't wait to see them once they're all put together :)

Tuesday 1 May 2007

New brands

Hey everyone!

It's Labour Day. Not that we celebrate it here so I hope everyone gets a chance to kick back and enjoy the fruits of your labour :) How's scrapping coming along?

Sorry for the lack of posts. Just a little note to let you know what's coming our way this month. More of Making Memories from the CHA 2007 collection, Bazzill Basics, and two new brands - Cropper Hopper and Heidi Swapp.

Have a nice week ahead :)

Wednesday 18 April 2007

8 boxes have arrived

Need I say more?
