Madness!!!!

Hey folks,

It's been an absolute MADHOUSE in here eversince Crop Night started! The FUN, EXCITEMENT and LAUGHTER was loud enough to deafen anyone within a one-mile radius!! Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a little but it seriously has been fantastically FUN and I know those out there who have attended at least one of our classes will agree with us :)

And with all the buzz happening around in and out of our store, we're truly sorry that our designers haven't had any time to sit down to judge the winners of our Amazing Scrapping Race. Therefore, we're postponing our announcement to Tuesday, 2 December 2008 at 3pm. I know it's horrible to keep you all waiting any further but we hope you understand how CRAZY it has been here over the past few days!!!! Severe lack of sleep and sustaining on caffeine but we're not complaining one bit!!! 

One more designer class to go for the weekend - WOW! We've been planning this for months, waited for eternity for this to happen and now it's all coming to an end so soon :(

Challenge #2 - The Amazing Scrapping Race!

Hi again everyone!

We know that a few of you out there have been anxiously waiting for the next challenge! It's great to know how hyped-up you scrappers are out there - all ready to pounce and rummage through your stash :)

So, here's CHALLENGE #2 and it comes from Lia.

CREATE A LAYOUT WITH AT LEAST 2 RAW CHIPBOARDS THAT YOU HAVE ALTERED - WITH PATTERNED PAPERS, INKS, PAINTS - LET YOUR IMAGINATION RUN WILD!

The deadline for this challenge is Sunday, 9 November 2008 at 6pm (Brunei time). Please type in the word "Challenge #2" as your subject when submitting your entry.

THE AMAZING “SCRAPPING” RACE

As part of our birthday celebrations for the month of November, our design team has come up with a list of challenges to be completed. Everyone is welcome to join and the only requirement to qualify for the prizes is that you MUST COMPLETE ALL SIX CHALLENGES. The race will be judged by our design team and the overall winner will be announced on 30 November 2008.

 

So, what’s the grand prize?

Our first challenge comes from Emily -

 

Create a 12x12 layout using 6 or more photographs.

 

Simply submit your entries to us by taking a clear photograph of your completed layout and send it to shabbychicbrunei@gmail.com. Remember to type in “Challenge #1” as your subject and include your name and contact number.

For this challenge, you must submit your completed layout no later than 12noon on Wednesday, 5 November 2008. Late entries will not be accepted.
