Guess who came to visit?

Yesterday afternoon, we had a very BRIGHT and LOUD unexpected guest.

Before the whole troop arrived, we went out to get mandarins, pineapples, pomelo and lettuces for the lion to feed on. It took them a good 5-10 minutes to slice the pineapples and pomelo under the lion, even with the help of a knife.

Of course, we fed them some 'ang pow'. They had to work for it a little on their way out.

And I became very productive after they left - I actually finished ONE layout! It's a photo of Isabelle and Melissa which I've been wanting to scrap for a long time.

Ta-daaaa!!!!!! Had the chance to use chipboards and paints - even the Specialty Glaze - Clear Gloss from Making Memories. I glazed the chipboards (and even the buttons!). The glaze does brighten up the colour on the chipboard. The random flower foam-stamp prints were outlined with a black 0.3 ZIG pen to make them stand out more.

Materials: Textured Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Chipboards: Fancy Pants; Paper Flowers: American Crafts; Brads: Queen & Company; Paints: Making Memories; Buttons: SEI; Pop-up Glue: Glue Dots.

Yep, just use the foam brush. If you're coating over paint, don't forget to let the paint dry first.
